Deuce,

I agree, but according to public opinion polls it appears as though most Americans approve of his picks. It's as if Obama can do no wrong for now. The electorate seems to have all of these grandiose expectations about this next administration. Good luck to Obama to be able to live up to them. I just hope they do a good job. He is inheriting a real mess.
To your comment about Bush being a "liberal". I can't think of a Republican being more liberal. I have seen estimates where George W. Bush has increased the size of the government up to %50. How is that conservative? He has only been conservative regarding taxes and nominations to the Supreme Court. There is no conservative party in Washington anymore except the Libertarians.

Change = No We Can't!

Don't expect much to be done during Obama's administration, folks. He may improve foreign relations individually...but appointing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State doesn't help. The Clintons were notorious for not having very good foreign relations.

I am not trying to be negative here...I am just being realistic. Obama needs to be appointing some Republicans to positions in order to fulfill his "bipartisan" claim, and so far he's not doing a very good job of it.

Yeah deuce I don't see much change in this administration so far. I'm a bit disappointed too because Obama has so many great contacts I hoped he would appoint some new faces to Washington. How about naming Jamie Dimon as a top advisor. I expected him to do that. Instead it's just the same people that have done the same jobs for countless presidents. No change yet.
