Tax Holiday Proposal…Demand Congress Support To This Now!

Congressman Louie Gohmert representing the First Congressional District of Texas is proposing something that should be a no-brainer to every politician and to every American no matter their political party. He proposing that the government should use what is left of the $700 billion dollar bailout package to give ALL Americans a tax holiday for January and February of 2009. He believes that this would stimulate the economy and give all Americans the help that they need, instead of focusing on bailing out just industries that have been poorly managed.

This is one of the best and most forward thinking Pro-American idea’s that has come out since this whole bailout mess began. Why not return American’s hard earned money back to the people that earned and let them do with it what they please. Even if people were to just use it to pay up on their bills this would help companies get back on solid financial ground. This mess was created by terrible business practices along with poor governing at the Federal Level and the American Taxpayer should not have to be the ones to bail them out. We need to get used to the idea that these legacy companies if they can’t fix themselves must go away and let the American Spirit and our talents take over in the private sector to rebuild our economy. We should not prop up failing companies for the short term gain of keeping jobs now with the long term reality that these companies will still likely fail and the jobs will be lost but instead the taxpayers will lose all of the money they have given to these companies in the process. American’s in the private sector will be the ones to help this economy grow and the ones to turn this mess around, not the clowns in Washington like Barney “There is nothing wrong with Fannie and Freddie” Frank. Speaking of which how in the hell isn’t that man in jail or impeached? He is one of the worst politician’s of all time and is responsible for a lot of what is going on in this country today!.

Unfortunately the liberal left, the liberal media, and people in general believe that it was FDR and the New Deal that got us out of the depression and now Obama is trying to recreate that train wreck when in all actuality it did nothing but add a socialistic component to our government and continued to make the problem worse. It wasn’t until WWII that our country got out of the Depression. This my friends isn’t even a Depression in comparing this time to the 1930′s when unemployment was 25%. We need to do things to put money and capital into private citizens and into private business to succeed, and not into failing companies that the government is trying to buy into and control.

The first step in this is to support Rep. Louie Gohmert’s plan to give all Americans a tax holiday with the rest of the bailout money. I implore anyone with a blog, email, and a phone, to text, write about, and contact everyone about this piece of legislation and ask all of your contacts to contact their Congressman, Senator , and the White House and demand that lawmakers support this bill. This is a bill that will truly have a positive effect on all working Americans, and will help our economy.

Liberals are already Complaining.

President Elect Obama hasn’t even taken office yet and the crazy Liberal Left is already complaining about what Obama is doing and who he is appointing. That is the funniest thing I think I have heard in a long time. What could they possibly be complaining about? They are getting a third term of Bill Clinton, I mean isn’t that what every great Democrat wants?

The fact of the matter is that Obama is no different than every other politician before him in Washington. He will say what ever it takes to get elected and then do whatever it takes to stay in office. There will be no  change in Washington until the people in Washington change and Obama is still bringing in the same tired cast of characters.

What is funny is that both the liberals and conservatives finally agree on something. Neither side likes the picks. But at least for the sake of the country Obama is staying pretty moderate. So much for new leadership and change. His new motto should be “Yes we can, but no I won’t”.

I never thought I would see the day that liberals would attack the Clinton’s and their cronies for being to moderate. But in the crazy unstable minds of the liberal left this is the case. Obama is the there best hope since the debacle of the Carter Administration to veer the country to the destruction that the liberals are hell bent on taking us. Lets just hope that the Clinton’s part 3 goes more like Bill’s second term except for being stronger on foreign policy or this country will be in a world of hurt.

Merry Christmas Senator Clinton!!

Well Barack Obama has sealed the deal and named Senator Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. So much for change!!! Why does Obama keep on nominating former Clinton staff  members and now a Clinton to positions in government? I thought he had something new to bring to Washington. He is recycling the same old garbage that we already have had. If there is anything that we can learn from the Clinton years, it is that he was weak on many things including in foreign affairs which after what happened in Mumbia, India should wake us up to the real dangers we face and who we have in key places when it comes to National Security.

Before all of you hard core kool-aid drinking liberals go ballistic about what I just said keep in mind the debacle in Somalia,( Think the movie Blackhawk down for those of you that lack knowledge of history unless Hollywood gives it to you). Or how about all of the attacks on U.S. interest abroad without a response during the Clinton years. Now we get more of the same Clinton policies for at least another four years. O what fun, I love this kind of change, even if you are a Democrat you have to scratch your head and wonder how is this any different than what Hillary would have done. (Well one thing would be different Obama would still be a Senator because Hillary would never had appointed him to any post.) It kinda reminds me of the movie Back to the Future, except the Obama doesn’t realize you can’t really go back to the past and change people.Does that mean that Hillary is going to be the same way she has always been and put her career before her Country , I don’t know, but in this day and age can we afford to wonder?

Whatever happened to new ideas, new vision, and new leadership? I guess that was just another stump speech with no meaning. Here is what I think happened way back in late May and June and the more I watch the more I believe its true. Hillary made a deal with Obama that she would drop her bid for the nomination if she could have control of his nominations and become Secretary of State. Kinda reminds you of the deal our buddy Putin has in Russia?

Now before you guys all say that I am crazy look at what is happening. Do you see any changes in Washington as far what Democrats are being nominated for leadership posts. Not one is a new up and coming Democrat. Most are former Clinton Staff members or senior Senators. Even Joe Biden you could argue was not a person that you would expect Obama to pick. Ted Strickland from Ohio or Bill Richardson from New Mexico would have been a better choice. But to be fair thank God, literally, that Biden isn’t Secretary of State, he would have made Madeline Albright look like a genius at that post.

Obama picks have been nothing more than a rehash of the Clinton Administration. Know for those of you that were hoping for change, I guess it was just from Republican to Democrat because other than that it is going to be business as usual in Washington. Hopefully that will be enough to break the stalemate of the Washington and is constant political grandstanding. I doubt it, Obama is not bringing anything new to the table. He just can communicate very well. He appears to be the rich mans version of Jimmy Carter.

Deals are done all the time in politics. Is there proof that this is another one of those deals? I don’t have any, but it sure appears that something is going on. Their is no doubt that Obama needed a lot of political help to get where he is today, and for him to be able to have Hillary give up what many will say was something she was working for since the day Bill left office if not before means that something had to have happened and deals had to have been made.

So much for change in Washington. Looks like the next four years are going to look a lot like the last eight. A whole lot of talk by the President, a whole lot of nothing from Congress, and a whole of BS from the liberal media about how great Obama and the Democrats are, well that part won’t be the same, President Bush could have turned into a liberal and the media would still be out to get him.

Well Merry Christmas Senator Clinton, you may have made out better than most will give you credit for. Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve next.
